Saints better get their act together.

Otherwise, a Harbaugh wins.

'Nuff said.

Why do I feel like some of those hits SF's Safeties put on em first half would have been flagged if they were wearing Black and Gold?

Is it wrong to secretly hope that Drew Brees throws an errant pass that hits Harbaugh square in the nutsack?

I'll be honest- I thought the same thing.

SF's defense is strong, but Smith is Smith.

The Dam just broke. Sproles goes 44 yards.

24-23. Saints. The Niners are down in their first postseason game after dominating the majority of it. Let's see how they handle it.

I just do not want to see an all Harbaugh SB. Sorry Crow.

What a stupid review. It was obvious from every angle that he was in, why slow the momentum of the game?

It's a real shame so many on this forum have given up watching anyone but the Steelers, because they would be seeing some teams play some pretty damn good football.

I was pretty non-interested but saw this was close and started watching with about 2 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. Definitely the right call - one of the best endings to a game I've ever seen.

Though I do have to admit, if the Saints won, I probably would've been pissed: 60+ passing attempts, the high-flying offense and barely bothering to play defense - exactly what's wrong with the game. This was redemption not only for the 49ers as a franchise but for "real" football in general, even though it may just be the last breath. And what better way to finish it than with a memorable play that coincidentally had an instant connection back to the time when they played real football.

That's why I was the only one to put the 49ers in the poll about who I'd rather see win the Super Bowl now that we're out. Screw all this about "oh, they'll have 6 Super Bowls too, we can't let that happen." I mean, someone's going to get there eventually, and better them than the Cowboys, right? And better them than the Patriots getting #4 and then nothing but "OMG DYNASTY!!!!" again for the next decade.

I'd rather see a team that plays honest football win it, and there are damn few of them left.

that was a great game of football . fair play to both teams and i thought the refs let them play the game . no ticky tacky calls imo .

When I was a sophomore in college, we played the NFL season on the Sega Genesis using Madden 95. The AFC Championship Game was me (Steelers) vs. the Chiefs (Chris Suellentrop, now a Yahoo editor). We spent the last minute of the game exchanging successful Hail Marys. Unfortunately he had the ball last.

ETA: That Saints-Niners game reminded me of the Sega season.

Welp, when a certain assclown is either relieved of his duties or stops destroying the game, maybe I'll start watching the NFL beyond the Steelers again.

With the 11th and 17th position picks in the first round of 2010's draft, the 49ers selected an OT and OG. What else can you say.
