Tim Tebow completed five passes of 30+ yards Sunday. Steelers allowed just seven 30-yard pass plays during season, fewest in NFL.

As I've said elsewhere, I've watched Tebow play a lot in the past, and he has NEVER been accurate for seven passes that were longer than 5 yards...NEVER. It was the best game he has ever played and will be the best game he ever plays. Even saying that, he still threw about 5 passes straight into the dirt...

I dont understand how we can have such a breakdown in a game like this.

Not sure if many people heard the announcers talking about Denver practice, but the last month they'd been working on plays for the playoffs that they never ran in the regular season. We got their hidden bag of goodies dropped on us and I imagine Tebow got plenty of time to rehearse those throws. Lots of the routes we got burned by were timing routes. With the whole defensive line out and no real pass rush with a "contain don't pressure" approach on defense, he had the time to throw.

Do just enough to get in the Playoffs and then let her rip!

No doubt that LeBeau was outcoached here...

Broncos were the #1 rushing team in the NFL. The game plan was a no brainer. Still, we were in the game and missed a few opportunities on offense as well.

Yes playing the run was a good idea. Having all 11 guys 5-7 yards from the line of scrimage on certain 1st downs was not.

It was downright stupid....

We got beat. I never would have though Ike would get beat like that. It wasn't just coaching either. NO ONE has film (or had film) on Tebow's Johnny Unitas impression before last night.

Tebow shook the world yesterday.

I congratulate him on his game

When they told him to just "sling it" I am sure he felt more relaxed and uninhibited than when he is always worried about making bad throws.

It is like having shackles taken off...

Exactly! I've heard Phil Simms say that about Parcells. Phil played one of his best games (in the midst of an up and down season) after Bill told him to sling it and take chances.

The team didn't show up, they've had problems in big games all year, and got out coached. After the Broncos 3 losses, now the Steelers will be forever responsible for the "2nd Coming Of Tebow".

Denver had absolutely nothing to lose and they played like it.

They were loose, they were hungry and they made some plays. They were having fun. Steelers are removed from that place right now. Need to get back to having fun. Did Ward even crack a smile yesterday? This has to be the first season where he was shown more straight faced than through his whole career. He was always smiling before.

They need to take the weight of Steelers Nation off their back and realize that we respect them and love them, especially when they are playing Steelers football. Win or lose.

The more amazing stat to me was 316 yards ... on 10 completions.

lol...you can't use that excuse. why can't you use your arians' excuse and say it's the players' fault for not executing? lebeau didn't tell taylor not to defense the pass.

The epic battle of good vs. evil. I bet Belicheck will even sacrifice a goat (after Brady f**ks it) on the 50 yard line

It was a no brainer until atleast the 2nd quarter, they needed to adjust and by the time we got to OT they were back playing the same crap. Hell if Fox didn't do his regular 3 and out offense we would have never got back in the game.
