Earlier this week, Rodney Harrison questioned my sanity and/or sobriety when I suggested, both in our weekly One-on-One segment and on NBC SportsTalk, that the Broncos should get quarterback Brady Quinn ready to play, in the event that starter Tim Tebow continues to play like he has played in the last three games he has played.

Without sarcasm, I agree. There is something about Brady that still somehow...rattles me. I hope this WON'T be a trap game for us. We can't afford to overlook this game.

Pretty amazing... Ben feels he needs to play even while hurt to keep sharp for the playoffs. Brady Q hasn't played since 2009 and folks are going to be nail-biting??????

are we really at this point where we are finding worry in the possibility that a backup QB might play?

Continuing with the fix-its:

Brady Queer is a really bad QB. No preparation necessary. He'll be too busy checkin' out the jocks in the stands. :heh:

While we might be battered up on Offense, you know that our defense will be ready to bring the heat, especially with Woodley AND Harrison finally playing at the same time. I know that I'm ASSuming, but I think that the Broncos realize this, along with knowing that Tebow stands a real good chance of being absolutely pummeled the entire game. Why not get your backup some reps, so he doesn't look like a COMPLETE ass?

So now Tebow's looking over his shoulder? Good move Broncos...good move.

Broncos QB Quinn says his practice regiment hasn't changed

DENVER -- While quarterback Tim Tebow (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/players/timtebow/profile?id=TEB603856)'s rough passing performance in last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/teams/kansascitychiefs/profile?team=KC) did create some internal discussion about whether to prepare backup Brady Quinn (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/players/bradyquinn/profile?id=QUI529720) during practice for possible action in Sunday's AFC Wild Card game (http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2012010800/2011/POST18/steelers@broncos) against the Steelers, the team later backed off the idea, sources said Friday

We're talking about college QB versus college QB. Neither Tebow nor Quinn are NFL caliber QB's, but Quinn is closer because he can, you know, actually PASS. So, apples-to-apples, Brady Quinn is a real QB, not a RB playing QB.
