I'm confident Legursky will be good for this one. Woodly's another story however. Ever since he popped that hammy against the Pats, even when he has played, he just hasn't been all that much. So until I see him with his normal explosion off the ball I'm not getting too excited just seeing him on the field.

Agree, Woodley will probably split time with Worilds or Worilds will get a majority of snaps.

Good. Hopefully that means Kemo's on the sidelines for this one, and we won't have to endure his bonehead penalties.

Though to his credit the last 2 games when he's had to play he hasnt committed any penalties.

Playing Woodley could be a mistake.

I hope I am wrong.

He's actually done pretty good the past 2 games. He NEEDS to be consistent and NOT have any brain farts.

Not much point in "saving" him for later now, IMO.

You might have a point.

It'll be nice to see both Woodley and Harrison pressuring QBs at the same time again.

I don't think they've played a game together since week 3 when James broke his face.

Would love to hear the conversation that Tomlin had with him. Somehow he got through that cinder block.

Let's put this game out of reach in the first half and we will be able to rest some more players heading into Baltimore/New England.

It's not so much "saving him" imo Gary but rather why use him if he is not healed enough to be effective coupled with the fact that playing him may hamper his healing time and effectiveness another game or two.

Flip side is that teams will likely account for him on blitzes whether he is effective or not.

If you keep it up, you're going to lose your job.

Typically a good motivator.

Probably have to wait until next season to see that again.

He might not have drawn any flags, but in the Browns game he was shoving a guy after the whistle and had to be pulled away by a teammate. At this point I was thinking, "this could very well be the stupidest person on the face of the earth."

Great news finally on the injury front. We need all the OL protection possible for Redman to find a hole, run a couple men down, and get to the endzone. I hope Woodley is 100% because he just isn't when he plays injured, but at this point in the season we have nothing to lose and must do whatever it takes to win.
