Curtis Brown has overcome a rough childhood to reach the NFL.

For Curtis Brown (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/team/roster/curtis-brown/f3c23f12-83ab-423a-a7b8-e15b757e96b2/), those words have a meaning that cuts far deeper than the tattoo needle used to carve them into his left arm. They are words to live by, words to remind him that no matter how far into the depths of hell his life might have gone, there is, and will be, light at the end.

When he looks at his left arm and reads those words now, he hopes the dark nights of his life are over, and in spite of it all, Curtis Browns understands he is lucky, because many of the young men who traveled this path before him are in prison. Or dead.........

Awesome story.

I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but we've drafted a lot of players in recent years who had rough upbringings (Antonio Brown, Batch, and now Brown).
