I wish I could reach through my computer and punch the next idiot who claims that Ben is a drama queen and embellish's injuries!

I doubt Ben will play against the Niners next week.

This was the game the Steelers had to win. Get to 10, plus it's a conference game. A loss next week only hurts us in our chances to catch the Ravens for the division. While I would love to win out, it's much more important that Ben is healthy for the playoffs.

I would be shocked if Ben plays against the 49'ers. I just hope his playing didn't do additional damage. A high ankle sprain involves ligament damage. Who knows how much additional damage Ben incurred by playing through it last night? We'll find out when he gets his MRI I guess. I just thank God we won. Getting that tenth win, (8th in conference) was huge, and all but wraps up a Wildcard berth. I honestly think there's a good chance we wont see Ben again until the playoffs. But of course I hope I'm wrong.

One things' for sure, this team needs to upgrade itself at backup qb next season, if not before.

I hear ya man. Did you happen to catch the poll that was put up just before kick-off on the NFLN? The question was, "Who is the more clutch QB?", the choices were Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, BB, and Timmy Tebow. The results shocked the shit out of me, Ben coming in last place with only 18% of the vote. :jawdrop2:

The only thing that Flacco needs to achieve elite status is the ability to fake injuries convincingly.

I was sure glad to see Ben get back in the game. We will never know if Batch could have won the game or not, if he would have stayed in the entire half and got a flow of the game going would we have scored more points....and still won... who knows. But our chances with Ben was far greater. I was just nervous as hell the 2nd half that someone was going to hit Ben's leg/ankle hard enough where Ben would have been out for WEEKS !!! I'm sure tough decision for Tomlin at the time.

Raven fans will never admit that he is an elite QB and that the Steelers are a great team. I don't know if they're too stupid to realize this or if their too ignorant, but I'm going with the second one. Remember, this is the fan base where majority think they have an elite QB and that their team is the greatest team to ever play the game. One minute Joe Flacco is God, John Harbaugh is the greatest coach ever and the next minute Joe Flacco is the worse QB in the game and Harbaugh is the worst coach in the game.

Fuck the haters.

Everyone loves to bring up the false accusations against him. Last I checked, he's never been in a set of handcuffs for anything, never been charged with a crime. There was no actual proof that he raped or sexually assaulted anyone in Georgia...and if McNulty was actually assaulted why has she yet to go to the police? With her, it's a desperate money grab.

But order your buddies to knife two guys to death? That's absolutely fine. Our outside linebacker beats the shit out of someone while in Arizona? It's cool. Ravens fans are some of the biggest fucking hypocrites on earth and should go kill themselves.

And on the o'line, particularly at guard, so when this situation comes up again (and it will), we would be able to run the ball three yards on four tries, so that we can put the game away and get our banged up qb out of the game.

Dude is hurt...dude is always hurt....dude always plays hurt...or dude sits while a backup plays for him...its not our first season folks...Dude should have thrown the ball away and not held onto it for 8 weeks allowing the hit to be put on him in the first place...just saying...for Ben/Dude...this is the Standard

You could probably take away about 8 Steeler touchdowns and 3 wins per season if Ben always threw it away when he's supposed to. Just saying. :coffee:
