The chiefs have not a good team, but their defense looks very good.

And the last time the Steelers play against the Chiefs, they lost 27-24 in 2009!

And chiefs were 4-12 in 2009!

The reason the world are afraid against bad teams, it's because of 2009.

But in 2008,2010 and this year, the Steelers have not lost a game against a team with a losing record!

2009 was a shitty year; Troy was hurt half the time and we basically were not ready for the season. This year is not like that. We ought to destroy these guys.

I expect a smashing win. They have an interesting backfield...Battle is a real bludgeoner, TJ can do it all, and Mccluster is just a scary change of pace guy. I want to see us keep going where we left off and have a 3 turnover game.

In 2006, the Steelers were not ready. They started the season 2-6.

In 2009, the problems have been a mid-season with five losses in a row.

Polamalu's injury has hurt a lot and also, the Steelers have been very unlucky and unclutch in defense.

Can this please be the game where we put them away early? I do not want to see us let them hang around because we have a bad act of losing to horrible teams because we allow them to stay in the game.

This game is no gimme. The 2009 game is still fresh in my mind, and this KC team is better than that crappy squad.

The KC crowd will be electric and keep the game in check.

As I say, since 2008, the Steelers have never lost a game against a team with a losing record, except in 2009.

I agree. The telling game was last week on the road against a much-improved Bengals team, after what could have been a devastating loss at home in the final seconds against Baltimore. We could have very well lost last week too (in 2009, we would have) and started into a season-ending tailspin.

At this point in the season, NO GAME is a "gimmie."

Let's go in to Arrowhead, get the win and let's go home.

If this team still had Cassel at QB, I might worry some because he's a good QB (he's overpaid, but he's a good QB). But since it looks like Palko will be the starter, their passing game doesn't worry me one bit. We'll probably make Palko shit himself with Harrison & Woodley rushing him, Timmons blitzing on a stunt. With no passing game, we can focus on simply stopping their run game.

Mind boggling how the Chiefs have so many primetime games.

Teams have been poor off the bye this year...is it because they don't practice in the 1st off week?

IMO, in the Steelers case, considering the injuries and their experience, it will be a big advantage for them. I think they'll win convincingly...

These types of games (against losing teams) are supposed to be "stat games" in which the individual players have a chance to run up their stats for potential pro-bowl selections, to demand more money when it's time to get resigned, etc... But most importantly, get the W.

I was at the '09 game. The crowd going in was pretty tame, not really up for the game at all and there were about 18K Steelers fans in Arrowhead, then the Chiefs ran back the opening kick off and it just sucked from there. Lost in OT cause we couldn't move the ball, and gave up a huge play in OT to allow the game winning FG.

I'm going again this year, 50 yard line behind the Visitor Bench, I swear if they let down again I will scream bloody murder at the entire roster for 120 minutes.

It'll be a nail biter again. Hopefully, Ben has a dynamite 4th quarter and we pull away from them, instead of hanging on to the edge of the cliff.

Is Woodley ready to go?

Is Woodley ready to go?

yeah i was wondering the same thing. i think we're all expecting him to and want him to, but no need to do so against one of the weaker teams we'll face all year.

I'm not too worried about this game, but you can never underestimate an opponent.

Such a painful game to be at. I was with a Chiefs fan too, took him to his first ever Pro Game...I don't think I've said two words to the kids since that day.

I'll be at the game, hoping for lots of scores towards the North endzone for the Steelers (front row endzone and representing in full BLACK AND GOLD)

We should win this game but, you know it's a primetime game on the road. I hope we jump on them early and, put them away.
