The Steelers were 7-4 before the game against the Lions and they lost their last 5 game of the 1998 season...In fact, the steelers were 6-18 in their next 24 games.

The Music City Miracle may have been controversial, at least at the time, but in the end the right call was made.

I vividly remember that botches coin flip, I was at my wife's aunt's house in Philly. I couldn't believe it.

We were in the doghouse for YEARS for that. You simply cannot show up an official like that and not have revenge exacted upon you...

Yeah I think. But the NFL may schedule us to play the Cryboys on Thanksgiving next year since we play Dallas on the road next year. At least we are supposed to, but we were also supposed to have Seattle on the road and Arizona at home this year too and for some reason we got Seattle at home and Arizona on the road. So idk...

That would be a nice change to the crap games they normally have. I have too many friends who like the Crygirls so it would be nice to make Romo choke again.

In 2012, the Thanksgiving will have a FOX in Dallas and CBS will be in Detroit. Its going Houston or Indianapolis will be the team that will play in Detroit.

With the actual format, the Steelers will not play the Thanksgiving in Detroit or Dallas.

How so? in 08 Fox had the game between the Cowboys and Steelers and even Giants STeelers. I froze my ass off that way. I wouldnt mind the Steelers playing some Turkey Ball again. And not for nothing Steelers Cowboys on Thanksgiving would show HUGE ratings.

1998 and 1999 are what put Cowher in the doghouse with Steeler fans as the Kordell Experiment blew up in their faces.

I found it,it was in 1983,a 45-3 beatdown by the Lions and Billy Simms ran like a man possessed.

I'll never forget that, even though I was eight at the time, I'll always remember how mad I was and how made I was when they lost.
