Nice to see the same old BS from SIX YEARS AGO getting dredged back up for about the ten millionth time too.

This is not the first time Roethlisberger has had a similar issue with his right thumb, and it irritated former coach Bill Cowher when he was asked about it.
It first came to light in 2005 and there were public issues about it over the next two seasons.
The first known injury occurred Nov. 28 during a game in Indianapolis and Cowher continued to list his quarterback as probable, and he continued to play.
However, during a Cowher press conference Dec. 13, the coach showed his obvious frustration at the continued questions about Roethlisberger's thumb.
"Talk to him,'' Cowher told a reporter who asked about the quarterback. "I'm not going to talk about it, so don't ask me questions. You can talk to him.''

Man, I hope he'll be okay and recover soon. If were beating up on the Chiefs and he's in, I'd sit him. At least we have this bye week.

Ben's thumb will have to fall off for him to miss that game!

He's a grown man!

Doesn't matter that he's a grown man. If he can't grip the ball properly, he's a liability.

Huh. Kinda interesting since he played Sunday with a glove on his throwing hand. When he usually goes Michael Jackson, it's usually on his left. Sounds like he was having "gripping" issues prior to the game. Prima donna.

Though this news sucks, Ben is a tough SOB and he'll be just fine.

Bye week and then just handoff the ball most of the time vs the Chefs. What, is Tyler Palko gonna beat us?
