The current playoff picture: It could go down. 3 AFC North teams looking good. All strong Defenses, 1 proven champion.

AFC
Seed Team Division Record

2 Houston South 6-3-0
3 New England East 5-3-0
4 San Diego West 4-4-0
5 Baltimore North 6-2-0

Kind of sad the the Bengals would have the #1 seed. Good thing there are still a lot of games left.

have heard it all season but now I notice, the AFC looks really beatable. Nobody really stands out right now

For that to happen, both non-division winners would have to get wild cards. OK, in the AFC West probably only one team is going to make the playoffs of the Raiders, Chiefs, and Chargers. In the AFC South, Houston probably had the lock with no other contenders. In the East, you've got the Bills, Patriots, and Jets. So, we're talking 5 seats among 9 likely teams (3 up-for-grabs divisions and 2 wildcard seats). I can see 2 of the AFC West potentials not going, but I can't see 2 of the AFC East potentials not making it.
