To win the division it will be difficult, but the Steelers are in very good position for a wildcard and the 2005 season to prove it was not impossible to have success on the road in playoff!

Also, it happens to all teams to have a heartbreaking loss or embarrassing losses.

It was much worse by the saints of the past week when they lost against the 0-6 Rams.

Nope, it's not the end of the world. Can't win it all every year, and there's still a lot of football to be played. We'll see how it goes.

You're going to have to give me a couple of days to get over this. I don't normally get pissed after losses, but this one...there's no fucking excuse for it. NONE. Right now, I'm just not up for any kind of optimism.

Won on the road in playoffs against the Ravens, his would be an incredible feeling.

in M & T Bank? That would be freaking miserable. We rarely win there. But yeah that would be satisfying if it happens

same here

chance of winning the division or not, letting Flaco drive 92 yards at our home is just pathetic

Can still win division, but it will take a great effort by us the rest of the way AND collapse by the Rats. I''l teak a wildcard at this point. HAVE to win next week.

Yeah, no optimism at all. None. That loss hurts more than almost any I can remember. It'll be very hard to go through baltimore in the playoffs.

Just take it one game at a time. Time to take it out on the Bungles.

This sucks but we aren't out of it yet.

I don't understand why they were giving them the sidelines on the last drive, instead of funneling them toward the middle. Eh, we'll bounce back.

....well we can unleash hell next week :chuckle: Seriously tho I've learned to get over these kinds of losses quickly. I've been watching Steeler football since the sixties and having a few down years in a decade isn't so bad. Congrats to the rats.....

We need to win every game up through the bye week... cause we were leading the division last week simply because we had not had our bye week yet and that was factored into the rankings.

Every game is a must win from now on. If we lose to the Bengals, it's pretty much over. We have to sweep them period!

I don't give a shit about the fucking Rams.

A good defense doesn't give up a 92 yd drive to lose the game.

If LeBeau's defense gets raped by Andy Dalton we'll be playing for 3rd place.

More like we'll be playing for 2012.

that too

Our defense is just no match for Joe Montana

I agree its not the end of the road but it does hurt but if we get the win next week we would be 7-3 going into bye week i would take that after 10 games. I still like are chances the rest of the way.

We can lose one more game this year and have homefield in the playoffs...win the division (IF we beat the Bungles at least once and win the rest of the games). The Rats, although they swept us, are still nothing special, and will lose several more games this year. I can see them finishing 11-5. They still have to play the Bengals twice, the 49ers, the Chargers, and, I think they could even drop a game to the Browns because they play good defense. Sure, we were swept, but if we finish 12-4 and they finish 11-5, we still win the division. That has to still be the goal.

The Steelers could jump out to a 20-3 halftime lead and Dick's defense will go into prevent mode in the 3rd Qtr. Tremendously predictable.

The Eagles(3-5) would like be in our position right now!

The loss against the Ravens is hurt, but they are always in a good position to be in the playoffs, which is not the case for the eagles!
