Turnover and sack fest starts now, hope we get out of this with Ben healthy. Even though Ben cost us the game with his stupidity!

Can anyone tell me why we forget the running game exists in the red zone?

Ben just converted a 3rd and 17, got us down to the redzone and medenhall just ran it. Great thread.

It's a counter jinx thread, it's been known to turn the tide. Now shush.

Ben pretty much handed the Patriots 7 free points last week.

He looks like Brett Favre out there. I said he needed to limit the turnovers, and he's not doing a good job of that.

This game was won or lost on him, and he's lost it. Doing my best to keep the counter jinx going.

Watch them return the kick for a touchdown. Oh well, at least that will save us the slow bleeding death the defense no doubt has in store for us.

Goddamn LeBeau with those 15-yard cushions! Gonna cost us the game!

Well, at least the media will get off the Steelers bandwagon now and jump back on the Ravens. I just don't know how Flacco can look like a great QB against us in the 2 games this year, and average for the most part against all the lesser teams.

Steelers had better forget this game real quick. They have got to come out prepared to beat down Cincy next week.

If we don't get a better pass rush than today, we're in for more more trouble next week unless Ben wins it on his own.

The Steelers will be the wild card if they make the playoffs.

But a team can to be successful in playoffs even if they are on the road.

since 2005

2005:steelers(won the super bowl)...Panthers(NFC title game)
2007:Giants(won the super bowl)
2008:Ravens(AFC title Game)...Eagles(NFC title game)
2009:Jets(AFC title game)
2010:Jets(AFC title game)....Packers(won the super bowl)

We must put the heartbreaking defeat against the Ravens side, since the Steelers are in a good position to be in the playoffs.

The Steelers are a very good team and not let the lost against the Ravens ruin the season of the Steelers...The Steelers have played very well for 5 games and they must continue.

My dream, it will beat the Ravens on the road in the playoffs.

Probably, but nothing's been decided so far. I'm not quite ready to concede the division title just yet.

If the Ravens finish the season with a 7-1, there is nothing that the steelers can do.

The steelers can not control the division right now.

I'm not ready to concede anything yet either. Anything can happen and from week to week, you never know which Joe Flacco you're gonig to see on that field so I'm not giving the Rats anything at this point. As for the Bungles, though they've been playing some damned good football thus far this season, they're the Bungles and we all know what that means. :heh:

No, but there's nothing that says they're going to go 7-1 down the stretch. They play the games for a reason. I'm betting they come out flat after the game last night and struggle against Seattle next week, just like they did against Tennessee in week 2, especially after the Gatorade bath they gave Harbaugh when they haven't won anything yet. Flying all the way to the West Coast to play Seattle next week has "trap game" written all over it, especially coming off an emotional win. The Bengals have historically given them problems too.

polamalubeast

The important thing for now is to be secure in the playoffs.

We must avoid doing the same thing that in 2009 ( collapse after losing at home against the Bengals in 2009).

The Ravens could easily lose to the Bengals. We just need to beat the Bengals and Browns.

The schedule this year is ridiculous. We're already done with the Ravens and haven't even played the other 2 teams in the division.

Edman

Don't know. The Ravens have been real hot and cold this year. Nobody thought they were going to lose to Jacksonville and Tennesee and look pathetic doing so, but they did. I'm not conceding anything. Would've been nice to hold on to the win last night, but what can you do. Swept and lose the head-to-head tiebreaker against Baltimore. Better put it on the back burner real quick or else Cincy will deliver more pain next Sunday.
