AFC Players of week 8: QB Roethlisberger, LB Johnson

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger was named AFC offensive player of the week after he passed for 365 yards 2 TDs and an INT against the Patriots on Sunday.

Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson was named AFC defensive player of the week after Johnson recorded 13 tackles, a sack and an INT against the Chargers on Monday Night Football.

This is the 2nd time in October that Roethlisberger is the player of the week.

He could be a 3rd time in the week 7, if Arian Foster would not have been a game over 115 yards rushing and pass!

I'm guessing that Ben is a strong candidate for AFC player of the month for October. Woodley has got to be on the short list for defensive player of the month as well.
