The Steelers played the Cardinals so they traveled out west
Coach Whiz and his team would try to put us to the test
Unfortunately, for Arizona, Ryan Clark would soon get a pick
A handful of plays later - and the Steelers scored pretty quick
Kolb would connect with Fitzgerald but not close enough to score
And as the 2nd quarter started they’d punt the ball once more
The ball changed possession for each team one more time
And soon would come a play that is a highlight of this rhyme
Mike Wallace is fast as lightning - that is not a mystery
A 95 yard touchdown pass that would go down in Steelers history
14-0 Steelers - but then the Cardinals would score too
And right before the half Suisham would boot one though
The Steelers opened the half with not much more than 3 and out
We were winning still but it certainly was no rout
Soon Woodley sacked Kevin Kolb on an awesome play
But then a short pass led to a TD and the Cardinals made us pay
The Steelers owned the 3rd - putting 9 points on the board
A touchdown made by Sanders and then a safety scored
2 more field goals from Suisham and they were both good
We were going to beat the Cardinals like we all knew we should
We must continue to improve - Sunday is a good beginning
Our “A” game will be required in order to keep on winning
Tom Brady and the Patriots have always given us fits
We just need some pressure and a few good hard hits
We have only beaten the Patriots once in a blue moon
They are due for a good beating come Sunday afternoon
