The Cardinals were flagged nine times for 67 yards. But the biggest penalties came during the Steelers' last drive of the second quarter. The Steelers weren't going anywhere until Richard Marshall held Mike Wallace on a third-down play.

Then, it got worse for the undisciplined Cardinals. Cornerback Patrick Peterson, Arizona's first-round pick from LSU, played like a confused rookie on the Steelers' scoring drive. He was penalized for holding to give the Steelers a first down at the Arizona 36, and he followed with a 5-yard illegal use of hands infraction that moved kicker Shaun Suisham into field goal range...............
