Steelers cornerback Bryant McFadden is getting closer to full strength after missing three games because of a balky hamstring. The veteran cornerback will still have some work to do even after he is all the way back from the injury, which has hampered him since early August.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that William Gay will remain the starter at cornerback opposite Ike Taylor, while Keenan Lewis will continue to serve as the nickel back. That leaves McFadden, who started the regular-season opener but played sparingly last Sunday, as the odd man out — for now.

No changes necessary, IMHO. Let Bmac ride the pine.

I hope he doesn't. No changes are necessary.

The last time he saw the field he got torched. Even Willie Gay (I can't believe I'm saying this) has been playing better than him. Keenan Lewis has been doing fine in the Nickel too.

Don't wreck things now by putting Mcfadden back in the game.

We've been doing just fine without BMac. Don't ruin a good thing.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. One of the few bright spots this season has been our pass defense, and that includes Gay's contributions, not matter how surprising they have been.

I agree, our pass D is playing very well this year. 1st in the league I think, don't mess with it...

yeah bmac needs to sit on the bench. lewis and gay deserve credit. now if they play like crap this week i'll take that back but against schaub and hassleback, 2 pretty good qbs, they did great.

ike is playing pro bowl caliber so far
