I don't think the Titans onside kick was legal.

That pretty much does it for me. :chuckle:

block punt......

Yeah, but it kind of gets offset by the fake punt -pass for the first down while it was still a game.

block punt......

Agreed. Second blocked kick in 2 weeks when a player came right up the middle.

I thought there was a dropped pass ( that was called complete) Tomlin should have challenged as well. It was on the possession near the end of the 3rd quarter the Titans scored on. With that sort of lead, even if you lose the challenge ( you wouldn't have, ball was clearly dropped) at the worst you interupt the Titans momentum. If the game was in the balance that play could have hurt you.

That wasn't even close to a catch. Even with that lead, I'm wondering why the challenge flag wasn't thrown...

Hasselback hurried and got the next play off before the Steelers could see a review.

Still just by Hasselback's actions Tomlin should have been tipped off and threw the flag. At worst he gets potentially a momentum killing time out in a game where the scoreboard indicates your timeouts aren't all that precious.

Like you said, there just wasn't enough time for Tomlin to get confirmation that it wasn't a catch. He was ready to challenge it once he got word, just didn't happen quick enough.

I must complain about the fact that I missed the entire first half by having an early dinner at my girlfriend's house....her brother and dad are Browns fans so the Steelers game was not going to be on.

Yeah but given that exact game situation I think he should have thrown the flag. At worst he ends up getting the defesne a time out.

No complaints from this end. The TEAM finally looked together. Everyone looked in the game for a change. I guess my only suggestion ( not complaint ) would be that IF that fake punt play isn't in the book, maybe they should look into putting it there and practice a few different versions.....I LOVED IT !!. GO STEELER's.

We let them score? :noidea:''

although I admit to to getting a bit worried watching the Titans first drive down the field and thinking, "here we go again".

Just a thought, but he may not have gotten an answer from the box in time. The Titans got the next play off a quickly as I have ever seen a team move.

Never mind, looks like this has already been covered.

No complaints out of me. They won convincingly and our OL was outstanding in protecting Ben. :applaudit: :tt03:

Well. . . the only complaint I have is that one of our players didn't kick Cortland Finnegan in the nuts just for shiggles. I can't stand that asshole.

I took my sister to Giants Stadium as a cheer me up just to watch them lose to the SeaHags. Complete waste of money and I cheered whenever they showed Steelers Red Zone highlights.

Indeed a fun game to watch, but it seemed to easy, maybe Im just too used to the Steelers keeping other teams around. Im terrified again for next week against the Jags. Rashean Mathis to start, and then Terrance Knighton and Tyson Alualu are going to smack Ben.

I've complained enough this year. After yesterday's performance, there are no complaints from me. I'll take that performance every game.

Great job guys, gets some confidence back, now let's build back to Super Bowl level performances, week in and week out. We have to make sure Green Bay doesn't win 2 in a row.

Yeah I have a complaint...that Rivers Casino doubled they're parking rate to $40 this year and we got stuck paying it.

Ryan Clark took a bad penalty on the Titans opening drive. Good chance without that penalty the titans don't score on that possession. It didn't matter this game, but extending an opponents opening drive is a stupid move any day. This team has to stop taking these sort of undisciplined penalties.

The dumb coaches should have put Mendy in for the fourth quarter so he'd have a chance to rebuild his confidence.

I have a problem with the officiating on that play. Not that they called a penalty on Clark because he deserved it for being stupid. The officials didn't do a good job of letting the players know that the play was blown dead. Whatever happened to blowing your whistle multiple times and waving your arms? None of the players knew that was a dead play.

This was a bad call from the ref. The runner was not out of bounds yet. The only thing I have to check on the replay is if the whistle had been blown before Clark's hit. But I don't think so, since the runner was still in bounds.

It was borderline, which means it will go against the Steelers every single time.

Roethlisberger with the worst fake spike EVER.

Roethlisberger did throw an interception late in the first half because of a miscommunication with Arians. The original play-call was for Roethlisberger to spike the ball to stop the clock. At the last second, he tried to change to a quick pass to wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who was lined up right with Ward and Wallace. None of the receivers heard that call and cornerback Cortland Finnegan wound up with an easy interception.

"Too bad because that play was open and would have gone a long way," Arians said.
