Dierdork struck a sore spot with me back in 2008 when the Steelers went up to New England and killed the Pats. But he's been homering the Steelers in these past games.

Dingledorf was in love with steve mcnair and hates the Steelers . Dingledorf needs to retire. His best days are behind him

Diedorf slobbers whatever knob is in the lead. Had Tennessee went up on the Steelers, you'd have been hearing that Matt Hasselback was the second Coming of Christ.

I have never had a problem with DD. It is Phil Simms I can't stand to listen to.

A lot better than Simms. I flipped on the Jets/Pats game and cringed when I heard his voice, knew he'd be slobbin on Brady's knob all game long.

I like Dierdorff a lot. I always feel that he is pretty balanced and informative in his broadcasts.

Dierdorff should be with Jim Nance and the main crew. He's great and he knows football and sounds like a football commenter should sound.

IMO, dierdorf is one of the worst ever. he is extremely annoying.

A great example of Dierdorf double talk. On the play where they called Troy Polamalu for pass interference in the end zone, ( near the end of the game)on what I considered a very close play Dierdorf made it out as if it were a no brainer, one the ref had to call. I'm not arguing the call was wrong, my thought was and remains that it was marginal and that play goes uncalled more often than not.

Anyway back track to the Steelers final drive in the first half, the Titans CB( 20 Werner I believe), does the exact same maneuver covering Wallace, incompletion, no flag, and Diedorf compliments him for perfect coverage. :chuckle:

Over the years I've come to respect a vast majority of football's broadcasters. It's not an easy job, if you do any traveling you'll find that most fans think that whoever the broadcaster is, that guy has it in for his team. Two fans of different teams watch the same broadcast, and both came away convinced that the broadcast is slanted against their team. :chuckle: The only one I really couldn't stand was Joe Theisman.

i don't have a problem with many of them. a few i don't like though are Chris Collinsworthless and Randy Cross. i do get tired of simms and nantz drooling over tom brady every week. can't think of others i can't stand.
