The Benapalooza Curse strikes again...

Steelers fifth-round OL Chris Scott missed this week's Rookie Symposium to undergo foot surgery.

It's yet another blow to a Pittsburgh offensive line that's thinning quickly. The extent of Scott's foot injury hasn't been revealed, but we can't imagine he'll practice early in training camp. I.R. isn't being discussed yet

Jim Wexell says that theres a chance Scott may not miss much time...so thats a good sign...but nothing will be for certain until after the surgery of course.

I hope Scott finds his way into the team. I like what I've seen from him

get well soon bro we need you!

As for Hills, he better show something this training camp!

Foster is a guard, if you want an offensive tackle duo that cant handle speed rushers look no further than Foster + Starks. He's been able to get playing time because of his versatility and injuries, but there's a reason he's been playing guard. Scott had the same issue anyways.

Any person we put in at right tackle is going to struggle with speed rushers. We have no agile tackles as replacements. You might as well put your best run blocker there.

At this rate all Hills will have to do is be breathing on cut-down day.

This season can't get no worse it has to get better. Colon, Holmes, Ben, Casey what is next.

It really sounds like we need a FA RT who can still play at a high level. We surely don't need a dud lining up on the other side of Starks. I think someone already mentioned that but it is the truth.

With Colon out and Scott apparantly sidelined until October, its really looking like Starks, Essex, Jon Scott, Tony Hills and Kyle Jolly as the only OT's on the roster. I would expect the Steelers to try and add 1 or maybe even 2 other OT's for training camp.

I think it's time for Sweed's fellow draft counterpart from Texas to earn his payday. Tony Hills knows who I would be talking about.

This is going to be one interesting year for this team. That is for sure.
