The last player out of the visiting locker room late Sunday afternoon at Reliant Stadium was the Steelers' most important one.

And it didn't bode well that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger limped to the shower after a 17-10 loss to the Houston Texans, limped back to his locker, had crutches dropped off to him and answered questions with his left foot in a walking boot.

Roethlisberger, who was scheduled to have an MRI on the foot, said he doesn't know if he will play Sunday against the visiting Tennessee Titans............

lalallalala NOOOOOO I refuse to declare Ben out until Sunday! He is famous for his miraculous recoveries.

I think the Oline should have to taxi him around his MRI appointment today. Make them site in the room as it is getting ex rayed and they can do all of Ben's chores at home that he won't be able to do because he has a bum ankle. And the whole time....the Mrs should be giving the oline death stares!

I'm inclined to bench Ben this Sunday if he's not 100%. With our OL he'll get killed if he's limping around out there.

The Standard is the standard. Time to hold your men accountable Mike. Loyalty, while honorable, should not cloud your judgment when fielding a Super Bowl caliber team. Farrior was an exception to the 35 + crowd last year. We got lucky. This year, he has fallen off the table. No slight against Farrior, but there are not many 37 year old players in this league. Farrior and Hampton need replacements. Sorry, love them, but reality has to set in.

Go ahead. Have the courage to do it. The long term gain will be worth it.

Wish someone was there to help protect him.
