I know its 2 years away but the game will be in my area for the first time . Notice the snowflake in the center - can you imagine snow in a SuperBowl ?

NEW YORK – There still is no official date for the 2014 Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, nor a logo for the event. But host committee CEO Alfred Kelly considered yesterday a monumental day because the host committee’s logo and advertising campaign were officially unveiled, as well as 22 corporate partners that have all pledged in excess of $1 million and will serve as vice chairs.

SEC schools won't play there, that's for sure!

How much did Goodell have to do with this? Cause gotta admit, him allowing a superbowl to be played in those conditions ups my respect for him a lil bit

Since the corporate meet-n-greeters (who are about the only ones who can actually afford to attend the Super Bowl anymore) more than likely will balk at sitting in the cold/snow (as they generally couldn't give two shits less about the game anyway), time until local taxpayers in NY/NJ are extorted to pay for a new retrofitted retractable roof (and probably a heating system of some sort) in 5,4,3,2,1....

I hope it snows three feet and we play the Cowboys. I know Tony don't do cold. ;)

REAL football? In the Superbowl? How COOL would that be? I'd call Bettis out of retirement for that one! Lol

Why do 2 stakes get credit? It's being played in one. Mississippi better be on the logo next time it's in New Orleans.

Classic douchy-ness to make NY and NJ the biggest letters on the logo.

There's been a move to get other cities a shot at hosting since I think under Tagliabue. Kansas City had a shot at it, but they couldn't get the funding for a tarp on the stadium (on top of $375 million for other renovations). It was supposedly a favor to Lamar Hunt.

Is that the official logo or a version if it for the Host Committee?
