View Full Version : Maybe it's time the Steelers O-Line did some chop blocking of their own.

I'd hate to say it because whatever they're doing now isn't working. The league is turning a blind eye to it.

What can we lose?

Saw the Colts doing it last night... But why stoop to the leagues level? Just like you don't see Steelers faking injuries!

I never saw the Colts OL do it (though i wasnt paying a ton of attention) I do remember seeing them do it the legal way...which is say the C is engaged with Casey and the RG comes over and goes low that IS legal...now if it was the RT that went low that would be illegal.

I'll settle for some blocking in general

Yeah, well....with our luck the minute the Steelers start doing it the yellow will start flying so fast it will look like canaries have been released.

They'd have to learn how to run block first...no sarcasm. Straight truth.

How about we use cardboard cutouts of Jon Kolb and Gerry Mullins to supplement the OL?

AMEN. People are B & M'ing about the run game. Whelp - can't have a successful rushing attack if the OL is made of swiss cheese.

I still think all chop blocks should be illegal, period. The league only care if Qb's and receivers stay healthy. They say F the defensive linemen!!!

I think the title of this thread might be more aptly worded as:

"Maybe it's time the Steelers put some of their O Line on the chopping block."

Just sayin.
